역유태극(易有太極)

본 논문에서는 「계사상편」 제11장 ‘역유태극(易有太極)’절에서 밝힌 태극(太極), 양의(兩儀, 陰陽), 사상(四象), 팔괘(八卦)의 학문체계를 바탕으로 선진유학의 마음론을 고찰하였다. 『주역』은 천지인(天地人) 삼재지도(三才之道)를 바탕으로 인간 본성의 이치를 밝히고 있기 때문에 선진유학 마음론의 철학적 근거를 제공하고 있다. 『주역』의 학문체계에서 태극은 송대 성리학에서도 마음으로 규정한 것으로 마음작용의 시작이자 근원이다. 

In this paper, it was examined the MaeumRon of Confucianism based on the academic system of Taiji, YinYang, Sixiang and the Eight Diagrams that is described in Chapter 11, 'YiYou Taiji', in the first volume of Xici(繫辭上). I-Ching provides the philosophical basis of the MaeumRon of the Confucianism because it reveals the principle of the human nature based on the reason of heaven, ground and human. In I-ching's scholarship system, Taiji is the beginning and the origin of the Maeum function, it is defined the Maeum in Neo-Confucianism of the Song Dynasty too.
